Holy fuck, I've woken up with a lot of worries these last 3 years, awfulness on both sides of the Atlantic, but somehow "will Congress get around to denouncing the 102-year-old Armenian genocide?" was one I'd forgot.

Impeachment? Global Warming? Brexit? Russian influence? Immigration abuses? ISIS? Racist beatings? Mass shootings? Fires ravaging California? 1 million Uyghurs in concentration camps?

Good to see we're tackling the to-do list in the right order...

Well, she could have left out the gratuitous bit about Native Americans & just parried with "opportunism on such a scale when you've avoided a difficult stance for 100 years reeks of... opportunism". I mean, the Armenian Genocide was apparently acceptable and not worth mentioning as long as Erdogan was a faithful ally, but cross us (while working with our traitorous president) and we'll suddenly find the balls to do something we've long been too morally bankrupt to do. Maybe we should condemn Israel for treatment of Palestinians if they refuse to allow electronics imports that compete against their market - that's an Apples-to-Apple equivalency litmus test, no?
