This is why I come here. There's such a large pool of knowledge we all share that no matter what the reference people will get it. So often in conversation all I get is blank stares. Sometimes I won't even make the reference because I'm sure they never read it and won't get it.

In regards to the first question, I see the matter in reverse; Who has a motivation to lie under oath, despite the danger it puts them in to suffer the penalties of doing so? From the Mark Twain perspective, it is an economy of effort: “If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.”

In regards to the second question, the risk taken is either a matter of honor if the testimony is true or coercion if untrue. The exposure involved rules out instances of indifference.

Number Three is hard for me to understand. I can't remember "identifying" with politicians. Even as I prefer one over another, there is a baseline dislike for them that always plays in the background. Politics is necessary for public hygiene. Being enthusiastic about them is like really enjoying having your teeth cleaned.

Number Four suggests that either this administration is as corrupt as it seems to be by all the things we can see and hear or that the deep state is seriously kicking its ass by making it look like that way when it is not.

Number Five. I not sure how to understand the question. I mostly feel like I don't want our Republic to disappear. If it survives, I realize that a lot of people I don't like or agree with will live in it too. I am okay with that.
