Makes things simple. Just like Trump at a rally. Democrats good and not racist, Republicans and conservatives always evil racists.

The needling about whether Flavius got this mythical Ted to vote the "right" way, to me that's what's beyond the pale. As if political party and person were one and the same thing. I can't even imagine what that would be like in real life, to be a friend or relative of such a person who rags at ya about who are you gonna vote for like a litmus test of whether you are a worthwhile human being. Like a nasty wife beater telling his wife who she must vote for or get beaten that night or a boss who says vote this way or lose your job. Geez. To me the secrecy of the voting booth is sacred.

REALLY the type of behavior that causes more and more people to become Independents, disgusted by the partisan stereotyping and simple mindedness. Nobody can be a complex human being, they are all symbols of a race or a political party.

Thu, 02 Jan 2020 23:35:47 +0000 artappraiser comment 274757 at http://dagblog.com
