old news to me, been checking out Yvette Carnell's twitter feed for at least a year. And general debate about those issues. You constantly presume the readership here is ignorant about Afro-American cultural issues. Your posting here presumes we don't know the nuances of black life in the U.S., write as if it's monolithic and simplistic and I find that somewhat insulting.

The tweet is probably by a black nationalist. One has to be carefful that it is not from a Russian troll.
The FBI went on a snipe hunt for Black Identity Extremists who supposedly represented a terrorist threat. They came up with nothing.

American Descendants of Slavery is a group that believes reparations should go only to those with ancestors who suffered chattel slavery. Black immigrants from Africa and the Caribbean would be excluded. Michele Obama-Yes. Barack Obama-No. Proponents of the idea include a black professor from Duke University.

There are black groups that are homophobic, anti-Semitic, and against so-called intermarriage. The tweet could be real or it could be something sent out by Russia, etc. Either way, it should be condemned.
