I actually got intrigued by how relaxed and elegant Steyer looked here that I replayed it.Doesn't come across when he's talking at a podium. Look at how nicely he reacts with Mayor Pete before he got to Liz and Bernie. He's a uniter not a divider type and gives off empathy and confidence. I guess that's an easy skill to develop when you don't have to worry about paying the rent. Just makes me wonder why other CEO types like Bloomberg can be such uptight assholes personally.

Edit to add: I see some people posting this clip say it is from them leaving the stage at the end of the debate. I'm not sure which it is.

OY. I just tuned in towards the end of debate, and heard Liz Warren to give bonafides about understanding flyover (everyone was sorta splaining how their appeal outside elite coastal types) talk about her two brothers in Oklahoma who are Republicans, how they get along fine and even agree on some things!. And how she was born and raised there. And then she asked for Republican and Independent votes! So no more pretending about being a progressive! Bernie bros vs. Liz for sure from now on.

In most cases, negative campaigning is good for voters—provided the negative attack is defensibly true.

But in most cases it's not true. If not an outright lie it's at least a gross distortion, exaggeration, or spin. Which in my mind is just another type of lie.

Ok this appears to be a real offensive, it's not just campaign journalists creating hyperbole--I noticed only because it was retweeted by Maggie Haberman, who I recall did her early own career stint on campaign buses so her pointing it out has more credence for me:
