If France did not exist, it would be necessary to invent her. And frankly speaking (apologies to the Franks), it wasn't that long ago that the Brits had a province on the Bay if Biscatyne - was that Acquitaine? Anyway, the stole Gibraltar instead, which is much smaller and lousy surfing, and they seem to be in quite the state ever since. Brighton Brixton Brexiton - I think it's some (not quite) poetical mistake, or maybe poetic Justice.
