Woman charged with killing Bronx nursing assistant who wouldn’t let her into bank ATM vestibule: sources

A Bronx woman has been busted for slaying a nursing assistant who wouldn’t let her into a bank lobby, police said Friday.

Reign Harney is facing murder and robbery charges in the the death of Tamara Sinclair.

Sinclair, 44, was in a TD Bank vestibule on White Plains Road near Pelham Parkway South on Feb. 11 when Harney banged on the glass door, demanding Sinclair let her in, authorities said.

“She just wanted her bank card,” Harney’s lawyer, Howard Lee said after her arraignment in Bronx Criminal Court Friday.

A rattled Sinclair refused, then crossed the street to a Bank of America where Harney and two friends attacked the her. Police responded to the assault but no report was filed .

One of the women still at large, snatched Sinclair’s cell phone, pushed her to the ground and kicked her when she tried to fight back, prosecutors said. Another of the assailants took Sinclair’s wallet, gave it to Harney to rifle through and kicked the victim down the bank vestibule steps, according to court papers.[....]
