At a seder last week, a physician friend started by thanking everyone for social distancing. She said that we are all sacrificing no small amount of freedom, joy, and normalcy to prevent the vulnerable from getting sick and to allow doctors to take care of those who are. (1/2)

This struck me as a nice message and one that I've heard shocking little of from national leaders. Praising people for what they're giving up on behalf of others, rather than whining about the cure being worse than the disease, seems like a decent unifying national theme. (2/2)

I can't get into your meme as I think "Easter" or spring equinox celebration is the most beautiful inspiring and wholesome of all the religious holidays. Where there is always hope of new life and rebirth after near suicide over winter death.

Edit to add: it's true that some religions don't get it as they are into eternal suffering.and wailing over tribal persecution. Still: Happy Nowruz!
