shit they already manage tons of insurance plans by government entities like for NY state Medicaid and retired employees of City of **** Medicare supplemental. The government(s) are the actual insurers, and they give United a cut for managing it for them. Which means: managed care managed by United. Which often means worse bureaucratic hassles than a government bureaucrat. Privatized bureaucracy: usually worse than the old kind. And now it seems United is on its way to becoming a monopoly at it.
