There is a pandemic, so he is doing things online. Trump has the Presidential podium, so MSM carries his words. Trump is so bad that there are responses called. Sh*t My President says. There are also parodies of his words by Sarah Cooper. Trump is an afterthought because networks are now carrying Cuomo instead.

Biden was beating Trump before the pandemic and Biden is beating him during the pandemic. If your enemy is shooting himself, there is no need to intervene. Let Trump kill himself.

If you have been paying attention, Democratic voters picked Biden.

Regarding 2016, Hillary got more votes than Trump. Democrats are focusing on the swing states this time around. Trump has pissed off ethnic minorities, women, college educated folks, union members, and now the elderly by telling them it is their duty to die.

The reason that Trump is viable is because there is a subset of gullible people still supporting him. They will be out voted. Wisconsin set the tone. People want the GOP out.

Sun, 17 May 2020 20:33:50 +0000 rmrd0000 comment 281679 at http://dagblog.com Too much ambiguity in your http://dagblog.com/comment/281677#comment-281677
In reply to Obviously, Trump can win.

Too much ambiguity in your comment. Negativity to who or what in the comment section? I am confident that most people are giving attention to the pandemic. Yes, the best Biden can hope to do is tread water and hope that he can do so while ignoring that he is in troubled waters and hoping Trump's idiocy turns off enough voters and that the many Democrats who wanted someone else and left leaning and centrist independents can stomach Biden enough to vote for him and that enough others are strongly enough motivated to get out and vote against Trump. A slim majority of enraged voters wasn't enough last time. Sad if it takes a pandemic to beat him, his actual record before the virus should sink him like a brick but hasn't so far.

Sun, 17 May 2020 20:18:26 +0000 A Guy Called LULU comment 281677 at http://dagblog.com Obviously, Trump can win. http://dagblog.com/comment/281664#comment-281664
In reply to How Can Trump Still Win The Election?

Obviously, Trump can win. Many of the comments to the article seem to be negative, suggesting that there is really no choice. I am not sure that reflects the true mood of the country. People are watching Trump teeet and give little attention to the pandemic. There will be no large Democratic rallies for the foreseeable future, so Biden just has to tread water. Trump is his own worse enemy. He couldn't explain Obamagate and he is firing watchdogs. He looks like a dictator each passing day. While he energizes his base, he enrages the majority of voters.

Sun, 17 May 2020 16:31:05 +0000 rmrd0000 comment 281664 at http://dagblog.com
