Senate Republicans just blocked a unanimous vote on a resolution condemning white supremacy. It passed the House unanimously. They said that after 9 months of the legislation languishing that the committees of jurisdiction needed to look at it and consider their “equities.”

In Wisconsin they call those people "Yoopers" (for upper peninsula) and yes they are sort of Big Lebowski types, though I might add that you'd have to throw in a bit of the McKenzie brothers to make a more accurate stereotype.

Well generally speaking that might be true, although younger men are more complicated. Feminism also seems to have evolved with the Squad, Kamala Harris, etc. These women are much more confident and have a loyalty to the larger group they are from and groups they are in solidarity with, as opposed to white feminists of old who just had the goal of reducing the power of men generally.

Beyond Trump and Biden is the spectre of a very, very different cultural and political world once the Baby Boomer moon has set. The millennial and likely the Z generation even more isn't simply the opposite of the Boomer and X generations but something else entirely.

I wouldn't guarantee that any of those people are voting Dem down ticket, they still call themselves conservative. Conservative is not the same as radical right wing activists. As a matter of fact before conservative shock jock radio, conservative usually meant conservative in thought and deed as in law and order and don't upset the apple cart.

A lot of middle aged white men just don't think liberals are going to help their goals in life and they think the Democratic party is too liberal.
