States barring Blacks from voting In 2016, there were *four* states that disenfranchised at least 20% of adult African Americans.

TN is now the only one. Kentucky, Florida, and Virginia have each adopted reforms that has slashed that.

So progress. But in each rate remains high, & unequal.
