Not even being sarcastic, I tried to read the Greenwald column. Like much of his writing, it’s super long and over detailed, sort of like a legal brief. I got bogged down and bored. Hard to believe there are many people out there who sincerely think it shouldn’t be edited.

After thinking on it a minute, Shane is basically doing a kinder, gentler cancel culture thing, it's "go along with woke or no one is going to pay attention to you" or as the beats used to say "be there or be square".

Myself, I admit I can't get over a schadenfreude reaction. Couldn't happen to a more appropriate victim, former passionate practitioner of shrill cancel-the-other style of advocacy, my way or the highway, where's the outrage, lock em up, etc....

Great news for The Intercept. Glenn will go start some Grayzone reboot and drive his own train into obscurity, blaming the world for his downfall. He will strive to maintain relevance by picking increasingly outlandish fights. Eventually, people will stop paying attention.
