The broader implication in here is that Democrats should take it seriously when many nonwhite Dems identify themselves as moderate or conservative. And it's usually conservative on social/cultural issues more than on economics. If Dems lose those voters, they're kind of screwed.

and want to add that these organizations should probably act ASAP about their "partnering" with BLM organization, as realizing now that they are a failure at politics, they've clearly decided to go all the way and promote not just "defund" but "abolish".

Exactly! Why isn't that clear? I am suspecting they are being dissed on purpose, that's why I am pointing it out. And they are still trying to be relatively polite about it so far, so as to not burn any bridges.

You think them being dissed is a good thing too? I am surprised.

Note the only thing I could find from Team Biden with any possible relationship to topic so far is Kamala's tweet above on hate crimes with a picture of the FBI. She is obviously messaging pro-FBI. That they are going to be working with federal law enforcement to fight hate crime. Nothing about reforming police being a priority of any kind so far. Avoiding the issue, do not want to play it up.

They say on their official site that they are six years old as of July 13, started July 13, 2013 to address the Trayvon Martin case. That was addressing George Zimmerman, not police forces, and not any organization or activity yet, just growing out of social media like this

I couldn’t imagine how in 2013 a white passing person could kill a young boy and not be held accountable. I didn’t want George Zimmerman to be the period to the story. I didn’t want his name to be the name held up over and over again by the media, by his fellow white supremacists.

That’s why when I saw the phrase Black Lives Matter spelled out by Alicia Garza in a love letter towards Black people – I decided to put a hashtag on it.
