Yeah I like this too; great metaphor.

Why Arpaio is not under indictment counfounds me; the guy has done just about everything an outlaw sheriff can do; misusing tens of millions in tax money as well as lying under oath.

But as I have underline several times in my post, the guy is approaching 80 and I frankly do not see him lasting much longer in the full time felonious position he currently finds himself in.

Some of his best friends are NAZI's. I mean they call themselves NAZI's. ha

That's such a fine way to put it. You've really zeroed in on the truly Orwellian tactics at play here. And you're right to put a bullet in the head of the myth that is the "post-9/11 world." You either live by your principles when it really counts or you don't. All of the fear-mongering they can muster can't change that.
