Maybe. But I'm dubious. Is it fair game to throw out a deeply personal accusation at someone in the midst of a campaign, an accusation irrelevant to the job at hand, and force them to either deny them or make a mortifying public confession? I think that's still dirty, dirty, pool. And while I hate politicians invoking their kids during a scandal, still, if Haley has cheated on her husband there's a good case to be made that confessing to us will be bad for her kids.

Bill Clinton absolutely lied to the American people, when he assured us that he did not have sex with Lewinsky. That wasn't his finest hour, but I'm not sure it disproves his fitness to be President.

all good points, and i agree on all accounts save one.

it's not the sex, it's the lying. if, and that's a big if, but if more come forward, or folks offers more details, (which i doubt he will), i couldn't care less what she did / does off the clock personally. BUT, she continues to look into the camera and say she's been faithful.

if she's proven a liar, then it matters.
