Have not looked into their openess but I did notice quite clearly when I'd look at Nigerian news sites, and there's a whole bunch of commenters screaming they are fed up at this that or the other thing in Nigeria, lots would talk about moving to Canada, or having the application already in.

And mine is fuck no. There's too many people on this planet already. I like the low population density of America. It's significantly lower than most European countries. Germany 603/sq.mile. US 87. France 319 The US is 145 of 194 on this list of countries pop density. It's not xenophobia or racism. I guess I just like nature more than people. Canada has 10 people per square mile. When they increase their population 9 times to equal our pop density then we can talk.

and my immediate gut reaction to what you say is California can't take no more right now, not a single person or a single 'nother issue or problem on its plate. It actually probably needs some of the exodus it is experiencing!

How about an actual targeted sensible resettlement program for folks like this? Where they like go in small groups to sparsely populated areas of red states. I've just read so many times that scenario ends up like this: the xenophobic locals end up adjusting their rhetoric along these lines "we are for old type America, MAGA style, we're against letting in all those other immigrants, except our immigrants, we like those just fine...
