I'm in approved category now, tried fo several hours Sunday and Monday, spoke to others in like situation same for everyone. Just giving up for a week or two, not even going to try, doesn't seem to get you anything, not even a spot in line, It's like playing lotto about similar odds of winning a shot.</p> <p>edit to add: imagine all the wasted money supposed vaccination sites are spending to say no.  For example, there is one Rite-Aid that's on the city's map, click on that, it puts you in special software that is like hold 20 minutes before you can even get on the website which then tells you no appointments available. Over and over many other sites say no shots available or no appointments available, try again tomorrow. (like the slots "SORRY YOU LOSE, PUT ANOTHER TOKEN IN") Many times if they are mega hospital related location, you have to make yourself a member of their patient portal first, with all the passwording and texting that requires under HIPPA. Then you do have an account with a hospital you'll never go to or use their clinics, and you also have; NO SHOT NO APPT., doesn't fucking matter.</p> </div></div></div> Wed, 27 Jan 2021 00:56:51 +0000 artappraiser comment 298941 at http://dagblog.com GOP discovers deadly virus http://dagblog.com/comment/298896#comment-298896 <a id="comment-298896"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/link/covid-news-californias-stats-still-suck-big-time-number-really-counts-33660">[COVID NEWS] California&#039;s stats still suck big time with the # that really counts</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p> </p><div class="media_embed"> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" height="" width=""> <p dir="ltr" lang="en" xml:lang="en">GOP discovers deadly virus called ‘COVID-19’ which has been devastating America since Wednesday.<a href="https://t.co/CqnxOKYfW7">https://t.co/CqnxOKYfW7</a></p> — The Shovel (@TheShovel) <a href="https://twitter.com/TheShovel/status/1352375188373917696?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 21, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async="" charset="utf-8" height="" src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" width=""></script></div> <br /> Virus strains the imagination </div></div></div> Tue, 26 Jan 2021 11:53:15 +0000 PeraclesPlease comment 298896 at http://dagblog.com more ominous stuff: http://dagblog.com/comment/298893#comment-298893 <a id="comment-298893"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/298876#comment-298876">bad news for you &quot;we&#039;re going</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>more ominous stuff:</p> <p> </p><div class="media_embed"> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" height="" width=""> <p dir="ltr" lang="en" xml:lang="en">OMINOUS—Denmark CDC is becoming more right — contagious <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/B117?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#B117</a> variant is continuing to solidify itself as 12.1% of sequenced <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SARSCoV2?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SARSCoV2</a> samples.<br /><br /> 2.4%<br /> 4.0%<br /> 7.4%<br /> 12.1%<br /><br /> Most shocking — it’s doing this *despite* a sharp lockdown, which is crushing regular <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/COVID?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#COVID</a> more. <a href="https://t.co/FNQ2FJrGAU">pic.twitter.com/FNQ2FJrGAU</a></p> — Eric Feigl-Ding (@DrEricDing) <a href="https://twitter.com/DrEricDing/status/1353982021996044288?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 26, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async="" charset="utf-8" height="" src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" width=""></script></div> <p>he follows with trying to explain what they know about vaccines and the mutations, not for sleep deprived reading.</p> <p>Guess it's time to go looking to buy higher protection masks before they're all gone again, if they aren't already. sigh.
