It had nothing to do with aggregating news. It did have to do with behavior

It's been a few weeks since I posted this and I'm still having my character and integrity questioned by people who hide behind "clever" nom de plumes. Let me say this one more time: I don't care what internet trolls think of me. I know me. I'm a real person who doesn't hide. I didn't hide in the streets and I don't hide online.

Some of you are so infatuated with being right that you miss a lot of things right in front of you. The post I wrote was tagged personal. This wasn't an obituary. This wasn't an attempt to relitigate a nearly two decade old incident. It was a composite of what I was feeling and what others expressed.

The moment I'm not wanted here is the moment I will gladly leave. Some of y'all are shells of your former selves. What kind of adult hides behind a an internet alias? Any man or woman to insecure to put their name on their opinions is no different to me than the alt-right trolls with Pepe the frog avatars.

PEACE!

by Danny Cardwell on Sun, 02/16/2020 - 1:14am

from his last thread

After this happened, I found him on Twitter and followed him and he followed me back.

Twitter has one really great tool for people who feel like he does: you can block other users from seeing your tweets and interacting with you. (You can also pretend to like them by following them back but "mute" their tweets so you never see them, so one never knows, so I am not making a claim one way or another.)

as far as OGD behavior, mho, and I've said it before: you spent your first first few days back attacking me PERSONALLY with childish nasty tweets having nothing to do with content. I IMMEDIATELY thought of how that must look to others: they must be thinking: why the fuck would I even type a word on that site when I could be attacked by a nasty childish motherfucker like that just for posting content in a tiny off-the-way section of the website? She must be a masochist to put up with that, not me, there's plenty of other places to go bu bye dagblog...

I took it in stride because I remember his behavior on TPMCafe (and the related aftersites which I frequented and which you can still find if you search for his user name on Google.) He posted some content, but mostly just got involved with forming a clique like in high school where they all admired Richard Day (who deserved admiration) and I remember you, OCD as thinking you were their protector daddy who would chase away the trolls that might bother Liz or stillidealisitc or some such. Gave you a chance to practice being nasty and fighting. That is just like high school! Time to grow up and talk about things for real before you die? I did point out that the counts I gave were all between comments. Maybe there are no lurkers and seven or eight regulars look back at a comment eight or ten times in thirty minutes or an hour or so even when there has been, so far, no indication of a followup comment.. My estimate intended to give great allowance to multiple hits by regular participants.

Sat, 06 Feb 2021 07:20:02 +0000 A Guy Called LULU comment 299650 at http://dagblog.com well I just looked at your http://dagblog.com/comment/299646#comment-299646
In reply to I am not pushing anyone to do

well I just looked at your comment. then I went elsewhere. then I thought about it and decided to come back to reply to your comment. that will make it 3 more clicks or page views. But I have been curious about the number and have made a little effort to inform my guess. This thread presented an example of my evidence/clues.

The site was not particularly active when I posted ny comment at 10:01 my time and the view count was 526 . Six minutes later it was 546. Then, four minutes later at 10:11 the count was 553. Then at 10:18 the count had reached 571. I realize that each time I checked I added one to the count but with no additional comments by that time there is no reason to think others clicked on the comment more than once. At 10:36 it took an unusually big jump to 658. So, anyway, I have done this a number of times to come to my estimate/guess. I will submit this, note the number of views when it hits and put that in a reply.

Sat, 06 Feb 2021 06:22:45 +0000 A Guy Called LULU comment 299644 at http://dagblog.com
