and as a boomer, I had to do a quick google to figure out who the heck Demi Lovato is, as I don't know and didn't care until now. and I saw these google results for "People also ask":

If I am reading this correctly exurbs have grown like proverbial weeds since 2010. But BIG CITIES & urban suburbs have grown at more than half their rate, 9+%, and more than 4Xs the rate of middle suburbs (where as @issiromem has pointed out not a lot of building ha happened). https://t.co/3g2h5O17t5

What he argues here is sort of a moot point as the census says it's not gonna happen in this country:

White privilege is bad, but the antidote is NOT to carve out sad little ancestral-ethnic niches for everyone who isn't white! The antidote is to give everyone equal access to *every* part of culture.
