The most it might say is don't breed so  much that you create a population of 8 billion. Indigenous knowledge is only concerned with how to live in balance on the land with an extremely low population density with low and simple technologies.</p> </div></div></div> Sat, 13 Nov 2021 22:56:42 +0000 ocean-kat comment 311670 at http://dagblog.com Ever consider the thought http://dagblog.com/comment/311662#comment-311662 <a id="comment-311662"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/arts/can-indigenous-knowledge-save-world-34791">CAN INDIGENOUS KNOWLEDGE SAVE THE WORLD?</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Ever consider the thought that some "indigenous peoples" might find this kind of thing a condescending continuation of the "noble savage" myth?</p> <p> </p><div class="media_embed"> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" height="" width=""> <p dir="ltr" lang="en" xml:lang="en">Can we please not with the Noble Savage commentary <a href="https://twitter.com/s_guilbeault?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@s_guilbeault</a>, We have a lot of Indigenous people who also rely on resource industries for the betterment of their people.<br /><br /> You need to be far better than this when you speak of who we are. <a href="https://t.co/ZhtLCGRynI">https://t.co/ZhtLCGRynI</a></p> — Ali Quea (@Quea_Ali) <a href="https://twitter.com/Quea_Ali/status/1459269639171567620?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 12, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async="" charset="utf-8" height="" src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" width=""></script></div> <p> </p> </div></div></div> Sat, 13 Nov 2021 17:41:43 +0000 artappraiser comment 311662 at http://dagblog.com
