I'm one of today's 38,000 newly confirmed UK covid cases.
Caught last week from my youngest, who got it at school.
It's floored me for 5 days & counting, sickest I've been in yrs (ever?).
I still feel incredibly lucky, to have vax & not be *seriously* ill.

(obviously it's impossible to avoid catching it forever, but if you're eligible for a booster then get it; even with 2 vaccines this is such a nasty virus, I would advise doing everything possible to reduce impact)
