Like I said, I read your article, and then I looked at their home page. And I found them pushing a narrative that as usual is extremely biased to the point of ridiculousness, trying to confirm his narrative that there is some order in the world and the U.S. is in charge of it.

Then I went to some of my favorite sources for related news on Twitter and then in like 5 minutes found counter-narratives galore and even objectivity.

It's fine that Mate has fixated on this one incident in the past and do a deep dive to find things that confirm his con narrative. It's like a hobby! (Though no doubt he would only last a couple days as an actual detective, would be fired for deluding himself with cherry picking.)

The NYT has said recently that we are an empire as have several highly acclaimed books published in the last few years.
