A big criminal case takes a lot of work for formal charging & not tipping off other investigation targets. Much of what see in the media is not admissible due to complicated evidence rules. Do it right or expect to fail at trial. We can’t afford to lose. Do-overs are not allowed.

Right. If a defendant is found not guilty in a criminal trial, the prosecution cannot appeal. No do-over. Only convicted defendants can appeal in criminal cases.
