Sometimes Marcie's 'they are bad people, let's dig up every single thing we can find to confirm our bias" conspiracy stuff just hits me as a little delusionary. Too much digging, sometimes is: too much, where one starts to see spiderwebs that aren't there. Sometimes coming up for fresh air and seeing what's actually going on is a good idea, i.e. what people are really doing as people. Not spinning and building a legal case in the style of our ADVOCACY system of law from documents, but actually looking at what's really happening.

I just don't necessarily buy that, as I watched the voting all nignt on CNN and it was extremely chaotic and every switch at the end was clearly a surprise, starting with Gosar and the way he paraded out like he was in shame I think that is giving genius agency to these players when they are really all idiots. They certainly weren't consulting their lawyers! They clearly didn't do what they told McCarthy they would do up to the last minute. It really was chaos and the main takeaway is: does not bode well for his "leadership" and ther in the future, that he cannot hold them to a deal for more than a few minutes! It's all individual chaotic actors, no teamwork, none at all, certainly not enough teamwork to execute a conspiracy or plan of any kind.
