About Gitmo -- do you think leaving Gitmo open is strictly a political calculation -- that not one Senator or Representative (much less Obama) wants to close it before the midterm and 2012 elections? Particularly if the result would be that the Senators and Representatives of the state to which detainees were moved would have to take ownership of approval for "exposing their constituents to danger"?
