Jung is my hero. Over the decades they will call him passe and then they start quoting him again. I majored in cultural anthropology.

But there has to be some link, I mean so many civilizations just ended up with so many paralells. And we were told, no--each culture came up with their own tech, their own stories...blah blah blah

Jung might have been a diffusionist like me, but he stressed that there was commonality in how we think, in how we act, in how we act as a community.
