That's why they sent up the strongest ones in the first few trips.

Thu, 14 Oct 2010 02:12:46 +0000 Orlando comment 88462 at http://dagblog.com Wonderful, wonderful news. http://dagblog.com/comment/88421#comment-88421
In reply to Breaking: Chilean Miners On Their Way to the Surface, One by One

Wonderful, wonderful news.

Wed, 13 Oct 2010 21:55:06 +0000 Doctor Cleveland comment 88421 at http://dagblog.com Looking at the little tube, http://dagblog.com/comment/88387#comment-88387
In reply to I can hardly breathe thinking

Looking at the little tube, I'd imagine 'stand'. Surely they got meds!!! though I can see they might not want to say that to the public just yet. Lotta praying going on on the ride up, I'd guess. But some hellish incentive to get in the capsule, eh?

Wed, 13 Oct 2010 19:26:37 +0000 we are stardust comment 88387 at http://dagblog.com I predict that this will http://dagblog.com/comment/88376#comment-88376
In reply to Breaking: Chilean Miners On Their Way to the Surface, One by One

I predict that this will inspire a new ride at Six Flags.

Wed, 13 Oct 2010 18:52:39 +0000 Donal comment 88376 at http://dagblog.com I can hardly breathe thinking http://dagblog.com/comment/88373#comment-88373
In reply to What a great thing. It's

I can hardly breathe thinking about it. I wonder if they can sit down or if they have to stand the whole way?

Wed, 13 Oct 2010 18:18:37 +0000 AmiBlue comment 88373 at http://dagblog.com P.S. Thank you for that BBC http://dagblog.com/comment/88372#comment-88372
In reply to I'm holding my breath. It's almost more than I can bear to watch as the capsule approaches the top.

Does anyone know who owns this mine? Is it privately owned or governement owned? I've been thinking about this a lot. I have a very hard time imagining a private mining company in the U.S. first providing the safe rooms apparently available to these men, and second, spending the money necessary to rescue them. This Chilean operation must have cost a huge amount of money.

Wed, 13 Oct 2010 18:16:01 +0000 AmiBlue comment 88371 at http://dagblog.com
