Thanks for the link. Don't always agree with him but he's the only writer at the NYT I would take time to read. Re the Tea Partiers, it looks like Obama's best shot is to offer O'Connell a way to do an end run around deMint. P.S. please stop pissing off the other bloggers, and the management.

Right. I am a big backer also. Just listened to 60 minutes. Pretty much a repeat of the press conference, but stronger. He definiely threw some meae culpae out there, but not with the flipae sideae punches I had hoped for.

Yeah, THAT'S going to happen. I am a big Obama backer, but if his post-election comments are any example, he is more likely to say: "We need to give the insurance companies whatever they need, even if the result is that Americans with the bad luck to have health issues end up having to crawl into the woods to die."
