By the time we apply the logic to that level of transportation, it seems anyone who wants to approach a group of 15-50 people could be subjected to the same requirements.</p><p>This just looks like an overreach they are using to bust people carrying contraband they would not otherwise constitutionally be allowed to search (which is precisely the outcome of this policy on the subways in New York - plenty of drug busts, not a single public threat uncovered). Mark my words - this is going to result in a ton of disproportionately black iner-city citizens ending up in jail for pot and other stupid stuff.
