That guy Fischer needs to get his story straight. According to the linked article, he said that gays can't fight:

We will no longer be able to bail out these other emasculated armies because ours will now be feminized and neutered beyond repair, and there is no one left to bail us out.

But he has previously argued that gays shouldn't be allowed in the military because they're too brutal:
