This is terrible news. She was a valuable voice and an example for economists and academics in trying to push the boundaries of the national debate. My heartfelt condolences to her brother and the family.

Thank you, Emma Zahn. She was certainly a capitalist, but as her brother said, "always trying to think outside of the box". (wish we could retire that phrase, but...there it is.)

I read her often; she was one lively Girl Economist. All of our heartfelt wishes to her brother and father.

As to her posts on TPM, her user page link is here

but the archive is empty. I often find people's archives have been screwed up there by a database mess, and not everything is under their name, but I've never seen one empty like that (usually there are at least the page of the most recent posts,) so I suspect either she or someone related to her removed them.

(Note on finding posts there: even if a user doesn't have a continuous archive under their user name, i.e., you find their archive screwed up and other people's posts appear instead, I often find the posts are still there, just "mis-filed" as if placed in the wrong filing cabinet. If you can remember enough key words, you can usually find the current location of an individual post on google.)
