I've got to remember to check out wassup on Gulf News more often. I recall that in the past they often have sort of hints of their alternative vision of modern life. Here's one of those today, this time on their front page:

At the same time, they had this whole page of stories on the topic of Valientine's Day, which shows how different the UAE can be from its neighbor Saudi Arabia.
