If Marcy Wheeler is correct, the statute of limitations would have expired in 2009 for asking Regan to lie. It will be awesome if he really gets indicted - but not holding my breath.

However, if he *were* to be indicted - Fox news will TOTALLY frame it as a full-on liberal conspiracy intent on eliminating the very constitution of this great nation of ours and also free speech. Or some such nonsense.

In the event of audio tape, they wouldn't declare it fake. They'd air it just as it was played in court and then spend three weeks asserting it said the exact opposite of what their viewers witnessed - and the viewers will totally agree. Then they'll accuse the jury, judge or both of being corrupted by Obama (and 'prolly Bill Ayers and ACORN too - just to cover all the bases).
