In addition to those blaming climate change, bad harvests, making food into ethanol, etc. there are those who insist that food problems boil down to speculation. As with oil prices, I tend to think all of it plays a part. Daniel Lerch said that the problem wasn't Peak Oil, it was Peak Uncertainty.
