It's pretty hard to ignore that beyond the Dem squabbles, they produce some exceptional journalism. Sure, there's fluff and choss ... but the nuggets are of amazingly high quality and appear with a frequency that make it well worthwhile to keep on top of what they are producing. (I assume you mean FDL, not Wikileaks).

The leaks have confirmed decades of suspicions, condemned tyrants, pulled the rug out from under neoliberal policies, shown far too much perfidy in the ME peace process,,,would that Israel, for instance, would realize whatt they've wrought, and pony up some new dedication to resolving the issues with Palestinians. Instead, it's possible they have green-lighted an Israeli company to hire mercenaries to help Gadaffi in Libya. It's by no means proven, but it is being spken of on Al Jazeera Arabic.

And meanwhile, the alleged leaker is being treated as though he were in Gitmo. Obama could put a halt to that with one phonecall, yet he is prosecuting more whistleblowers than Bush.
