With the recent anti-muslim tirades, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the religious right is hell-bent on restructuring the 1st Amendment to read what they think the founding fathers meant that has been screwed up by the judiciary. Notice they've read the Federalist Papers and gleaned, out of context no less, the founding fathers were god-fearing right-wing christians...never did they infer other religions had a claim to free expression of their heathen religious rites. Also, keep in mind SCOTUS is not in any way shape or form representative of the law for the people...they're politicized.

1 - Secular countries don't lack for violence, murder and rape, though some of them may have less than some religious countries. Check out this wiki page.

2 - WBC's crazies are giving free speech a bad name, but how do you stop free speech you don't like without threatening free speech in general?
