Most people don't know this, but the real reason that George Foreman invented his famous grill was, in fact, to bring perfectly grilled cheese sandwiches to men and women and boys and girls of all ages throughout the world. I know this to be true, because I had one last night for dinner. I didn't even know that April is the month of this savory delight, this grilled splendor, this sandwich of bread and cheese and butter, yes, the grilled cheese sandwich, the greatest comfort food of them all.

Of course, as Passover approaches, for some the whole matzoh and cheese thing gets old fairly quickly. . .if you know what I mean.

How fun Ramona! My boys just told me about the Darth Vader Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Apparently it is when you accidently cook it too long when you flip it and it burns.

Now it has a "dark side".

No. Croque has mornay sauce on top. That would be a great improvement in the toad though, with the added benefit that it has cheese in it!
