The bags were printed with all kinds of designs with the idea of reusing them. Pretty much every stitch of clothing I wore was made by my mother from those feed bags.
I learned to sew by watching her, and I can sew anything I want to now.

Fri, 22 Apr 2011 00:04:09 +0000 CVille Dem comment 116230 at http://dagblog.com (No subject) http://dagblog.com/comment/116175#comment-116175
In reply to The Green Thing

Thu, 21 Apr 2011 16:56:20 +0000 Donal comment 116175 at http://dagblog.com You always said people don't http://dagblog.com/comment/116166#comment-116166
In reply to People were definitely more

You always said people don't do what they believe in they just do what's most
convenient then they repent
And I always said. My grandmother would walk or use the bus or rapid transit to go shopping down town. Walked to the corner market and a little further to the Finnish bakery.

Very few people had more than one car. And in my family, If us kids wanted to go someplace we rode our bikes there and we live out in the country. We had one TV...period. But I have to admit, I did have my own radio. Which I repaired myself to have one.

Thu, 21 Apr 2011 15:26:24 +0000 cmaukonen comment 116161 at http://dagblog.com
