"America is back!" Sounds familiar.
It's bizarre to hear Trump opponents use his language. Elizabeth Warren was the same way. It's like he managed to get in to the American psyche on a hardcore level.

Gee, it's copyrighted? In the 90's we had the feeling America was a force for good in the world, with the Soviet Union crumbled, China & SE Asia opening up, internet/Web spreading to balance access to information & eCommerce, etc.
Yes, the America where Hillary Clinton stood up in Beijing and talked about women's rights.
The America where Soros (yes him) & the US worked to bolster up East Europe & CIS countries after the Wall fell, before they fell back in the well.
The America that helped China grow out of poverty through offshoring while growing our economy through next generation technology (& other industries).
The America that encouraged peace in Northern Ireland and the completion of the European Union as a great proof-of-concept in multiethnic/multinational cooperation (as opposed to say the Soviet Union & Iron Curtain, peace through intimidation and invasion, or the Chinese model, re-education camps).
In 2009, Obama worked with European and Asian leaders to restore confidence in finance, figure out how much money should go where. Lots of mistakes were made, but we we were *leading*, not bashing heads and threatening.
Let's say that other America is always there too - just "(The) America (we actually like & people abroad respect) is back!". How long is anyone's guess. We whipsaw back & forth.

It's odd to use the phrase immediately after Donald Trump.

We've been using that phrase for say 220 years.

Look bigger and wider picture for comparisons, Orion. I.E., they were losing WWII and all it took for the little baby U.S. to come out on top of the world for decades was to react to being trolled by the Japanese to join that war at a very late date. The U.S. did so, unified and geared up to do that in very short order and then offered the Marshall plan after it was over.

and see if you see any similarities.
Like Biden has said in more than one speech, ...if this country sets it mind to do something....

"America's Back" edition - Biden signals massive vaccine rollout. This is the stuff the US can and sometimes does extremely well, while Europe is busy fucking up its own rollout, and after Trump rolled around in his own vomit for months.
Yes, reclaim the tag.
