The Bishop and the Butterfly: Murder, Politics, and the End of the Jazz Age

    Bullies in the Yard

We all dealt with Bullies in school, unless of course you WERE a Bully... And the best way to deal with a Bully is to ignore them because all they are really looking for is attention to feed their weak ego. And most of the time that works and they go away or quiet down.

Every once in a while you come across one who just does not give up and does everything in their power to break you down. At some point you NEED to stand up to them and face them toe to toe and tell them to "bring it"...

In my mind Republicans are the Bullies in the Yard and it's time we stand up to them as Democrats and let them know we are not going to allow them to instill fear and poison the world with hatred and bigotry and ignorance.

I like to think of myself as a Hippy.. peace loving and calm, rational and intelligent... but I am also a warrior when I feel like I need to fight for what is right. So when I see all these loud mouthed Right Wing paranoid bigoted hateful people spewing their twisted truth I am not going to walk away... I am going to fight.

Our voices are just as loud... we just need to use them....

    Peace

My peace sign says, "Peace." to your peace sign.

    Cool

We do have a funny way of dealing with political bullies.  Instead of standing up to them, the Democrats go whimpering off in a corner to figure out ways to keep them happy so they won't hurt them.

Peace is good--love those peace signs!--but we do need more warriors.  There are lots of them milling around in the streets, but I don't see many of them wandering the halls of the White House or the Capitol.

(And, hey, Drippy--nice to see you here.)

No matter what your political views... Stop stereotyping people! We are each a unique individual. Don't pigeon-hole me!

If you tear down my peace poster I'll KYA!!!
