    Who Benefits from Obamacare? Democrats, Republicans & the Corporations that Control Both Parties.

    Obamacare

    Both Democrats & Republicans are lying for their corporate masters: Obamacare was not primarily about healthcare OR taxes. The goal was the individual mandate.

    WHO BENEFITS FROM OBAMACARE? DEMOCRATS, REPUBLICANS & THE CORPORATIONS THAT CONTROL BOTH PARTIES.

    In last week's United States Supreme Court ruling re National Federation of Independent Business Et Al v. Sebelius, Secretary of Health and Human Services, Et Al (11-393/28-Jun-2012) a.k.a. "NFIB v. Sebelius", the individual mandate to purchase health insurance and associated penalties for non-compliance contained in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Public Law 111-148/H.R.3590/PPACA/23-Mar-2010) a.k.a. the "Affordable Care Act" a.k.a. "Obamacare" were declared to be a tax and therefore constitutional:

    The Obamacare bill is a massive piece of legislation - depending on formatting, anywhere from 900+ to 2000+ pages - much of which can loosely be construed as "healthcare reform".  That millions of Americans will be impacted by this law is beyond dispute.  Whether that impact will be positive or negative, on the other hand, will be a source of sociopolitical debate for many years - assuming of course our illegal and immoral death-from-above droning and Oil Wars Iran-baiting antics in Syria, Balochistan and elsewhere don't get us all blown to Kingdom Come in the interim:

    There are, however, three clear and immediate beneficiaries of Obamacare:  the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, and the Global Corporations who control them both:

    1. THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY can truthfully energize their base of lemmings on the left side of the false divide by declaring a victory for "healthcare reform" - although the percentage of Americans who can expect to receive a net benefit from all the changes in that mass of legalese is only about 10 percent, and some 5 million of us are projected to actually LOSE our health insurance coverage as a result of Obamacare.  According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO):

    "Compared with prior law, the ACA is now estimated by CBO and JCT to reduce the number of nonelderly people without health insurance coverage by 30 million to 33 million in 2016 and subsequent years, leaving 26 million to 27 million nonelderly residents uninsured in those years...  The share of legal nonelderly residents with insurance is projected to rise from 82 percent in 2012 to 93 percent by 2022.  According to the current estimates, from 2016 on, between 20 million and 23 million people will receive coverage through the new insurance exchanges, and 16 million to 17 million people will be enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP.  Also, 3 million to 5 million fewer people will have coverage through an employer compared with the number under prior law."

    2. THE REPUBLICAN PARTY can legally (and from that narrow perspective truthfully) energize their base of lemmings on the right side of the false divide by parroting Chief Justice Roberts' proclamation that its individual mandate and therefore Obamacare represent a "tax increase" from a President whose campaign promised no tax increases on the middle class, and who personally and through his administration vowed repeatedly that Obamacare was NOT a tax.  In Obama's own words:

    2.b. "I absolutely reject that notion," Obama said under repeated questioning by Stephanopoulos.  "For us to say that you've got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase," Obama said.  "You can't just make up that language and decide that that's called a tax increase."

    3. THE GLOBAL CORPORATIONS that control both the Democratic and Republican Parties - and through that "Two-Party Tryanny" our government and all of us - are the biggest beneficiaries of Obamacare.  The global fascist elite 1% could care less about improving the health of the other 99% or what new tax burdens are placed on the backs of a middle-class struggling to survive yet still desperately hanging on to the belief that somehow, someday they too will be rich, famous and have their own Reality TV show if they just stay on the treadmill and keep running.  And by using the Congressional power to tax rather than the Commerce Clause as the basis for his decision, corporate puppet Chief Justice Roberts made sure the NFIB v. Sebelius ruling would stir up a partisan political firestorm - and accompanying smokescreen - to keep the Sheeple divided and fighting each other, blinded to the white-collar crime being perpetrated by their common enemy:

    Reaching far beyond the corporatization of medicine and privatization of healthcare in America, the 1%'s objective with Obamacare was to establish a constitutional legal precedent for individual mandates by which the wealthy can become even wealthier simply by having their paid political puppets pass laws mandating that we buy their corporate products and increase their profits - regardless of whether we want, need or can afford them.

    Today, it's overpriced health insurance.  Tomorrow, it might be underpowered Chevys.

    You know Bruce, you never say a single thing about what types of policies you support, what sorts of solutions you would offer to practical social problems, or what kind of world you want to live in.  All I gather is that you want to be free in some way from all of the powerful forces you think are oppressing and controlling you.  You also encourage people to "unite".  But for what purposes, and in pursuit of what goals, and employing what means - these questions seem unimportant to you and beyond you.  Free-floating paranoia is not a political agenda that has the potential to unite any but that small, sad minority who can't think about anything other than whether Big Brother is reading their email or planting electrodes in their brains.

    What do you propose is put into place after the revolution, once the tyranny has ended?  What would the foreign policy look like? would we maintain our relationship with Israel?  how would we deal with immigration? would abortion still be legal? what would be the drug policy? would more or less money be spent on education? the NEA? would gun control laws be more restrictive or less restrictive? and so on and so on.

    As usual you go swinging off the point being discussed - what is before us is the question of unity.  The notion that somehow we all unified on the issues, be they local, national, or international, and the only problem is the tyranny from above.  There are severe ideological differences between people on very important issues - from crime to foreign policy to poverty.  So the point here is how do we unify if we are not actually united ideologically.  But just keep ranting, rather than exploring ways to actually create workable solutions - that is what the masters who are so fixated upon love to see.

    working class.

    The system works just fine, for those in power. Or haven't you noticed?

    WHAT MORE WORKING SOLUTIONS, DO YOU WANT?

    If you have to ask, then it's clear; you're a member of the wrong class.

    The ruling class has a system (solution) in place, to benefit themselves and the only problem they occasionally have; is lack of total submission.

    As the dupes of the Aristocracy, looks to convince others, submission is less painful.

    If you only divide people into subsets of futility, how does that process become something like a resistance to what has been established?

    You promote a quasi-Marxist view of politics but your Proletariat can have no effect upon the system until the world has been entirely deconstructed. The idea frames the past and the future but leaves the present moment oddly untouched, like a specimen behind a museum glass.

    Elsewhere, on this board, you have stated that human efforts to deal with our world have run their course and will be shortly coming to an end. It grates upon the ears to hear calls to overturn the world order from someone who already has one foot out of the door.

    From my religious perspective, it isn't that God delights in the coming battle;  its just that unless he intervenes, for the benefit of mankind. "NO FLESH WOULD BE SAVED"

    Do you understand the significance of intervention?

    Maybe you're amongst the group of deniers, of climatic change?

    While many of us are saying "CHANGE or else"

    Should we take up arms, so we can protect ourselves from denier stupidity?

    Should we promote revolution, so we can escape certain doom?  Or should we wait passively and then say "We told you, ALL FLESH WOULD SUFFER "

    Did you not listen, you didn't fear the people would rise up becuase or your deeply entrenched GREED?  

    When countless souls suffer and the blame is laid at the leaders feet, you think maybe the people will revolt?

    It is all of US that won't cant deliver the promises of a brighter future, because those who benefit from the present corrupt system are, too deeply entrenched and wont permit it to change.

    It's obvious many don't want it overturned. You don't want it overturned do you?

    But unless this old corrupt system is overturned, there will be an intervention.

    Do I say to the intervenor; who comes to help the weak and the meek; "WAIT give us more time". Time to do what?  The same ol same old?  

    An intervention because people refused or were incapable of overturning the corrupting influence.

    Those who support the present system; are guilty.

    You cant say; "I really wanted things to be different", yet you prop up those, who really don't want change. Your support strengthened their grip. and because of that, those who want a change, ask for an intervention. "Man or God, someone do something".

    When we look back, we cant say Democracy worked, democracy became deeply corrupted and the people couldn't change it. 

    Or they would have; .........REALLY?  Deniers.

    First, you say that 5 million of us are going to lose our health insurance.  Then you cite the CBO as your evidence:

    These words do not mean what you think they mean.  These people don't "lose their insurance," they gain insurance through other means (exchanges, Medicaid, CHIP, etc.).  This does not even mean that employers drop coverage, it just means that in the new mix of the newly insured, in aggregate, fewer are covered through their employers, even though more people are covered.

    But, it also means that you're out 100 smackers.
