NEWS: Prosecutors edged closer to alleging sedition Thursday, warning in a new filing that the Jan. 6 Capitol assault was part of a violent — and ongoing — attempt to overthrow the U.S. government.
I just saw Chris Cuomo on CNN TV interview his defender about 15 minutes ago, he actually did a very good job, mho. Cuomo and Don Lemon are discussing it right now in the segueway between shows.
We do not have the Pre-Trial Services report, but the Government's brief refers to the PTS report at page 7. They note that it (ie Pre-Trial Services in Arizona) is ok with release, with conditions.https://t.co/8lAoQUGjfF
I was wondering why Kash Patel was trending and then I saw that the My Pillow guy had him taking over CIA after suggesting that President Trump declare martial law.
Just in: Federal judge reverses bail for Capitol rioter Richard Barnett.

2/ I've also done the only comprehensive analysis to date of the 4 speeches that preceded Trump's on January 6 and were intended to frame his own: two by family members, one by Trump's lawyer, and one by Trump's top Congressional ally. Here's that thread: https://t.co/bRjocEIXxE
On January 6th, Luke Mogelson followed President Trump’s supporters as they forced their way into the U.S. Capitol, using his phone’s camera as a reporter’s notebook. Watch the footage here. https://t.co/APTfLdFrOE
invoking martial law to reverse the election could be criminal sedition:
This idea was discussed again at the White House yesterday, this time with Minnesota pillow salesman Mike Lindell.
Sedition is a crime. @COFinkelstein and I explain here.

on the woman who was shot to death, possibly felony murder for the window breakers and also police officer for excessive force, it's complicated:
“They are also examining whether the shooting was foreseeable and occurred during felonies committed by others, in which case those individuals could face felony murder charges.”https://t.co/hSON3juIH1
I keep a video of what happened right up to the shooting because I was thinking of doing a blog on the difference between lynch mob type violence and terrorism. It definitely looked to me like they were using terrorism towards those cops standing there trying to protect the door, reminded me of WWII Japanese prisoner-of-war camp movies, they were trying their best to terrorize them (also of interest near the end the "fuck the blue" statement about how "we covered your ass all summer" or some such.)
Above is terrorist technique, as opposed to beating of the cop on the steps, which was mob violence, started by agitators, pure emotion of anger
Later we learned from the cop that he may have saved himself by humanizing himself to the mob, i.e., "I've got kids"
