    My New Favorite Websites (MNFW)

There is something about picking a ridiculous concept and building a website around it that puts a quiver in my liver.  Today I found two websites that are mind-blowingly awesome, if only for the fact that they straddle the line between absolutely outlandish and categorically awesome.  I encourage you to visit these sites and bask in their preposterous magnificence.

    1)  Black People Love Us - The blacks just can't get enough of them!
    http://www.blackpeopleloveus.com/

As I have noted on several occasions, racism is funny.  Not in the subjugation and unfair treatment of people because of their ethnicity way, but in the ha-ha isn’t it funny how stupid racism is way.  This website pokes fun at white people who get a bit too proud that they have black friends.

The execution on this farcical site is excellent.  It looks like an old school angelfire website thrown together by a white couple, Sally and Johnny, who are way too proud to be friends with black people.  Their site states, “We are well-liked by Black people so we're psyched (since lots of Black people don't like lots of White people)!! We thought it'd be cool to honor our exceptional status with a ROCKIN' domain name and a killer website!!”  And they have the pictures and testimonials from their black friends to prove it.

2)Why the F*ck Do You Have a Kid?
    http://www.whythefuckdoyouhaveakid.com
I have noted in the past that when folks you know have kids it is not always a joyous occasion.  Sometimes it is an occasion for lament, when you want to ask them: Why the f*ck do you have a kid?  Which when you think about it, may not be the proper question.  We all know why these people have kids – they were to stupid too use birth control.  The question should be: Why the f*ck did your dumb ass not wrap it up or get on the pill?  But that’s not a snazzy name for a website and thus whythefuckdoyouhaveakid.com.  Check the site and weep for the future.

    3)  Great Big Stuff - A site for the magnitudinally ironic
    www.greatbigstuff.com

In this time of economic uncertainty it’s nice to know the internet still has products to offer that appeal to the conspicuous consumer in us all.  Products that don’t ask the question of why you need them, but instead ask the question of why don’t you need them.  Such is the case with one of my new favorite sites, www.greatbigstuff.com.  A website dedicated to, you guessed it, oversized goods.

The thing that strikes me most about this site is that these over-sized items is how much deadlier everyday items become when they are super sized.  A thumbtack is now an implement of death.  An adjustable wrench now becomes the ultimate bludgeoning tool.  A vegetable peeler becomes a 22 inch utensil that Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs would have liked.  A fishing lure turns into the preferred weapon of a sociopathic mariner.
