Who shook the fake David Attenborough quote?
When Cabeza de Vaca washed up on the pristine Florida panhandle in 1500 or so, what did the kind spirited natives do? They put him to work as a slave, and then he escaped to another group who out him to work as a slave, and so on.
The Aztecs retreated to their garbage island in a swamp to perfect their form of hate if the other, and then came out badass style and started conquering all the tribes around with particularly ghastly measures.
Of course when people aren't being their natural shit selves, life can shekbthe jar with disease, earthquakes, drought & time of want, cold snaps, lots of tormenting bugs (yes, including fire ants), locusts, what ever.
