The move was sudden.
Comes in the wake of a lawsuit by a voting machine company
Dobbs mentioned by name in the suit
Comments
$2.7 billion reasons for Murdoch to can him.
Trump will always love him though.
Like Trump loves Proud Boys, patriots who beat cops with poles of American flags (NOT kneel before the flag!), Kim Jong ... etc.

Unless this is followed by the very specific retractions called for in the lawsuit, isn't this too little too late?

Dobbs pulls a Ken Lay and expires before the trial? Odds?

I'm not a doctor. But mho, but he looks just like the genotype that doesn't live past his 70's and he's 75 and his doctor yells at him all the time to take some yoga class or something and he ain't gonna do that...

Hm, OAN wants it both ways
Here we really don't want anything to do with this show we're airing

But now that you're here, here's a great upcoming program!
No lawsuit *there*, amirite?

Meanwhile here's an example of what Fox News was doing tonite, culture wars with Gaetz which Marjorie was thrilled to tweet--and do note the female afro-american anchorperson (doesn't look at all like Lou, hmmmm)

Jeffrey Toobin had to resign for manhandling himself during a Zoom call. Wondering if Gaetz will get caught jizzing over Marjorie on-screen (with her passionate approval, of course) which will lead to demands he be promoted to some senior committee position (dominant, man with a missionary i presume). He always struck me as a bit whack-a-doodle, but never clicked the full semantic ramifications. Should help Fox's ratings anyway - sticky eyeballs?

wondering if they are going to play this clip on Fox as regards the new GOP patriotism talking points:
it really is on fire on Twitter. This is one good reply to the GOP talking points:

ALL 49 STATES SHOULD SECEDE..!!! WHY 49..??
The last one wouldn't be able to secede as here would be nothing left to secede from.... WOULD ZERO OUT THE NATIONAL DEBT, ..!!
Only drawback will be Mitch McConnell won't be able to obstruct the Senate from doing anything, even if Kentucky is the last one holding the bag, Rand would never buck him anyway.

alternately Puerto Rico would gladly take Texas' place, I just looked it up and they are ready willing and able, already just voted yea:
Special selling point on that choice: if you read any of the analysis on "Hispanics" and the vote, contrary to stereotype, you'll see there's more support of old fashioned Romney-type GOP among them than one would suspect...
In or out, whaddya want, it's so confusing. If they could just get rid of the Democratic party, everything would be much easier, they could make two parties of their own!

Puerto Rico statehood would be the most significant and lasting accomplishment of this administration in potentially giving a more functional Senate.

Stelter adds a point that is often missed: high ratings does not necessarily always equal high profit in advertising dollars! From Feb. 6 Mediaite article by Caleb Howe of CNN show:

OAN gets Anti-SLAPped - and their pre-emptive Pillow Guy disclaimer seems DOA - if only they had $2.7 billion.
