I'm guessing Lukashenko is smart enough to slip out of this, such as welcoming Russian soldiers but never having attacks from Belarus territory. Even in Feb he was lukewarm.

So basically one can be assured that Russia is going to be an extra fucked up country for at least a decade - even if Putin were to die, and there was major redirection, the meme and the brainwashing will still be there -
