    I clicked the wrong button.

Maybe that is what the problem is all over this country.

We seem to click the wrong button.

I am watching President Obama on MSNBC just now.

    It is captivating.

    All I have are cliches.

But this man, a lame duck as it were, is giving a great eulogy to the most Reverend Pinckley.

    It is amazing.

Twenty years from now, we shall be presented with this speech.

    Hyperbola?

No, this is a big deal.

We just witnessed the most important Supreme Court decisions this year and this decade.

I get so mad all the time.

Like the post office has been stolen and the mail box is locked.

But today, and during the last 48? hours; I feel the mail box is not lost.

    Fuck you O'Reilly.

Barry is talking about equality and humanity and...

    He will not stop.

    THIS IS A GREAT SPEECH.

    I love President Obama.

But those who call him a coward or a traitor or and....now he sings.

    I LOVE THIS GUY.

    I am astounded.

    THIS IS A BIG DEAL.

    THIS WAS AMAZING

We are 50 years after King. Conservatives tell us racism is over. Yet people lost their lives over a dispute about race that is 150 years old. We can't continue this nonsense. The South has more to offer than to stay mired in slave society. The country has moved on. The Confederacy is the past, not the future. Pinckney was a pastor the country could have accepted. Huckabee, Hagee, et al only serve those with hate in their hearts. Huckabee hates people that God created because of their sexual preference. He is not a fit pastor for anyone.

When you listen to the eulogy, remember the roots are in the black church. The roots are not in the mega-church, but the local black church. It is a source of spiritual enrichment. When Conservatives criticize Obama's faith, you realize it is the Conservatives who fail to heed the words of peace and restoration in the Bible.

I look forward to viewing the service later today.

I got that, believe it or not.

People, the flock, chiming in in echoes.

I was just stunned by this presentation.

He is so very gooooooooood. And he meant good. and there was no politics really.

I am sure FOX and other right wing media folks will attack this.

I do not give a damn.

    This was good stuff!

Thanks for the heads up.  I didn't see yet. It was food day and I still have lots to do.  I will look for a video tonight or at least some clips.

It was amazing grace, wasn't it?

I saw him singing the song.

    But damn.

This week, we have seen amazing grace, have we not?

Thank you,  I just did not perceive it's true message!

    Son of a gun.

Here is the real song I was thinking of

It was a very moving speech.

And his comments on the Scotus decision were very thoughtful.

    A day to remember.

This is a big deal and this is a WEEK to remember.

    This is a big week.

And I shall remember this week.

Most surprises seem to get me down.

    Not this week.

And our President's speech just caps it off.

    REMEMBER THIS DAY

I've smiled more in the last 2 days watching the news than I have in a very long time.

And then today. Wow. The eulogy was amazing. I was on the verge of tears, then when the Prez started singing, I lost it.

This country has lost a huge opportunity by not following his lead for the last 6 years. Now that he has no fucks left to give, and he is able to go his own way, we're seeing the man I wish we could have seen all along.

I've never been as proud of him as I am today. And I've been pretty proud.

    Is a speech newsworthy?

Well this one was worthy to me.

    I love him.

And I have love for you Stilli.

    You stay safe!

Thanks, Arthur. I love you, too.

I think we're going to enjoy his last year and a half of housekeeping. I'm so glad he's going out with a bang.

South Carolinians got to see how there black Christian brothers and sister view the Confederate flag. Many South Carolinians had convinced themselves that the compromise that white South Carolinians worked out was OK with the flag remains on state grounds. The South Carolinians thought that they knew what black South Carolinians wanted because there were no riots. Without these deaths, South Carolinians would have gone on thinking everything was OK. The volume of the applause Obama got when he said the flag had to come down was deafening. Hopefully, there can be meaningful dialog on the serious issues, but the flag coming down is a necessary step.

This has been a great week with a sad but hopeful end that can lead us to a better future.
