    Death of a Clown?

As John McCain comes unraveled, it struck me as kind of important to think what the GOP gave the American public to vote for in 2008 - and what it chose by what, 46,47%?

Yeah, a guy on his last legs, having trouble holding it together, and a woman completely unprepared for governorship of most states (including Alaska, as her resignation implies) - much less to assume the presidency of the US.

While you're not supposed to wish for people's demise (not sure why not, when the same people want to turn the Middle East to glass), it's interesting to watch McCain slip into full-bore senility, and that's only 2 years into the would-have-been 4 years. (Presuming he didn't miraculously slipp out a 2nd term like George Jr. did). While I'm not an Obama fan, the alternative in the generals was truly scary.

Frankly, I'm waiting for McCain and Mel Gibson to get together for a binge drinking session, preferably with 1 or 2 TMZ reporters in tow.

The man cannot hold two concepts in his head at the same time.

He is a total embarrassment as far as government figures or military heroes.

But I frankly saw him as a sham twenty years ago. There were times he came out of nowhere and fought for some justice. But those times were few and far between but it gave MSM this myth to work with.
