On Tuesday Ed Shultz interviewed Annette Taddeo Chair of Miami Florida Democrats and also a member of the DNC Executive Committee.

Ed has a regular pod cast on Raw Story that is always interesting. This one is very interesting about the Florida's Governor's race. This is probably one of the most watched governor's race in this election cycle. Polls have been showing Scott doing well. But in reality this race is far from settled and this pod cast covers some of the reasons. Rick Scott is in deep trouble even with all the money he has spent, also he is running a really bad campaign.
Charley Crist just got on the air with his first campaign commercial from his campaign. There has been some really great commercials that Florida Democrat Party has been running for the last year. The reason for a late roll out is because the Democrats recognize that money has to be spent on voter registration and ground game. Florida Democrats are getting really good at their ground game. All of you saw it in action in 2012 and the support it gave voters in those long lines and getting them to the poles. The national party has opened up a computer system that identifies were the voters are at to all the Democrats campaigns and third parties involved in this election cycle. This is helping to target were to put efforts in GOTV. Charley Crist has focused on retail politics and building a relationship with the local medias. He has been showing up at all kinds of events, even surprising the event that had no idea he was coming. He really looks like he is enjoying himself as he campaigns.
This is Charley Crist's first 30 second spot add that came out a couple of weeks ago. It is very good and positive.
I showed this commercial last month. That I think is one of the best ever that the Florida Democrat Party put out last winter. They did several of these that hammered on Rick Scott.
His bad campaign performance has gone viral according to the Tampa Bay Times. They have a great take on this on their news site with video. He always looks to me that he has a drug problem. It is such a wooden face and strange eyes.
His dilemma is that being ridiculed by national media outlets probably is not a surefire path to re-election. When networks use a big-state governor as a pinata, they're also making fun of the voters who put him in office and perhaps planting seeds of doubt in their minds.
Scott made CNN's "RidicuList," as Anderson Cooper said Scott's evasiveness "insults everybody's intelligence."
MSNBC, with its endless fascination for Florida politics, awarded him a place in its "Canned Response Repetition Hall of Fame."
This should give you a good update on what is going on in this Florida's race.

Mike, when I went to edit this blog to put in the page break and the block quote, I lost the all the embeds but the first picture. I had to go back and add them all again in. It is a little buggy.

Thanks, I can see there's an issue with videos when you edit the post. I'll look into.

The pod cast only works on the original post. But if you add a reply or a comment then the pod cast don't work then after that. Another bug found.

Yep it did but the comment one is still not working. Could that be that it takes a while for it to load? It did when I first put it in the comments.

I posted this before Crist made his announcement today that Annette Taddeo Goldstein is his running mate. I didn't go back and fix her last name because I didn't want to replace the videos that disappear. Very good choice on his part. She is a great asset. Watch old Scott's numbers go down.
